Managed pipelines, all the way to silver
Data ingestion you never have to run.
Our engineers connect your sources, land them in your own warehouse as bronze tables, refine them into clean silver tables, then monitor and fix every pipeline. There's no tool for your team to learn and no data engineer to hire for it. Add-ons for PII redaction, documents, RAG and AI enrichment work the same way.
A 30-minute call about your sources and your warehouse. There's no software to demo, because there's nothing for you to run.

01 The problem
Ingestion tools come with a job opening.
SaaS ingestion tools maintain their connectors, but someone on your team still sets up each source, watches the syncs, answers the alerts and fixes whatever a schema change breaks. Open-source tools add servers and upgrades to that list. The license is only part of the cost; the rest is the data engineer who runs it.
And the tools stop at raw. Typing, deduplicating, merging updates and applying deletes fall to your team as well, rebuilt in every model and slightly differently each time, which is how two dashboards end up disagreeing.
Ingot is a service, not a tool. Our engineers build, run and fix your pipelines all the way to clean silver tables, and their time is part of the price. For bronze and silver, there’s no one to hire.
| The job | With an ingestion toolSaaS or open source | With Ingot |

02 How it works
Tell us what you need. We build it and run it.
- 1
Tell us what you need.
On a call, you tell us which sources matter, how fresh each needs to be, and what you want from the text inside them. Your team can keep permissions on your data sources in-house and give us read-only access, or we can manage those permissions for you. After that, there's no setup left on your side.
- 2
We land bronze.
We build the connections and land every record as the source sent it, append-only and stamped with load metadata, so there's full history to audit or replay from.
- 3
We refine silver.
We type, deduplicate and conform each table and apply updates and deletes, so silver always matches the source as it is now.
- 4
We keep it running.
We monitor every sync, fix what breaks, and handle schema changes, source API changes and backfills. There are no alerts for your team to answer: when something affects your tables, we tell you what happened and what we did about it.
- 5
We put the text to work.
With the add-ons, we redact PII, parse documents, build RAG-ready chunks and embeddings, and enrich free text with sentiment, topics and summaries. Results land as tables and columns next to the source, with no parser, vector database or prompts for your team to maintain.

- Core Ingestion Databases, SaaS apps, files and streams, synced as often as you need, with change data capture where the source supports it. tables, APIs, files → bronze
- Core Bronze & silver tables Full raw history in bronze; typed, deduplicated, current state in silver. The same conventions for every source. every version → the current one
- Add-on PII redaction Personal data found in columns and in free text, then redacted, masked or tokenized before it spreads. dana.reyes@example.com → [EMAIL]
- Add-on Document ingestion PDFs, Office files, web pages and scans, parsed into text and structure your warehouse can query. contract.pdf → documents, sections
- Add-on RAG pipelines Chunks and embeddings that stay in step with the source, ready for retrieval-augmented generation. sections → chunks, embeddings
- Add-on AI enrichment Sentiment, topics, entities, intent and summaries from free-form text, written back as typed columns. ticket text → sentiment, topic, summary

05 Why Ingot
Your warehouse. Your tables.
Ingot writes to the warehouse you already have, in your account and under your access controls. Bronze and silver are ordinary tables: query them with SQL, join them to anything, and model them however you like.
Every table follows the same documented conventions for names, metadata columns, keys and history, so the tenth source we connect looks like the first.
Our core service stops at silver on purpose. Gold, the business logic, is yours to define, in dbt or whatever you already use; if you’d rather not build it yourselves, we can, as an extra. And if you ever stop using Ingot, every table stays exactly where it is.
- Tables land in your warehouse, in your account, under your roles and permissions
- Redaction where you choose: before data lands, so raw personal data never reaches bronze, or on the way into silver, with bronze restricted
- Read-only, least-privilege access to your sources, with permissions managed by us or kept in-house by your team
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- A published list of sub-processors, including the model providers behind the AI add-ons
- Your data is never used to train AI models
- Every redaction logged, so you can show an auditor what was removed and when
07 FAQ
Questions teams ask first
How is Ingot different from a SaaS or open-source ingestion tool?
Those are tools, and a tool needs someone to run it. With a SaaS tool, your engineers set up each source, answer the alerts and build the models that turn raw tables into clean ones; an open-source tool adds the servers and upgrades. Ingot is a service: our engineers do all of that, through silver, and it’s in the price. So when you compare, compare Ingot with the tool plus the engineering time it takes to run it.
What does our team still do?
Very little. You tell us what you need, then either keep permissions in-house and give us read-only access, or let us manage the permissions on your data sources for you. From there, your team’s work starts at gold: the business logic your dashboards read, which we can also take on as an extra. Everything from source to silver is ours to build, monitor and fix.
Can Ingot help beyond silver?
Yes, as an extra. Bronze and silver are our core and where most of our work goes, but the same team can also model your gold layer, build machine learning models, take on data science work, develop and manage an AI knowledge layer, and build dashboards in the BI tool you already use. Ask about it on the call.
Which sources and warehouses does Ingot support?
Ingot lands tables in Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery and Redshift, from databases, SaaS apps, file stores and document stores. If a source you need isn’t covered yet, ask on the call.
Why not use our warehouse's built-in AI functions?
For one-off questions they work well. Ingot runs enrichment as part of the pipeline instead: only on new and changed rows, with the model and prompt version recorded on every value, reruns when either changes, and the same setup whichever warehouse you use. We maintain the prompts and the jobs, so your team doesn’t.
Where is our data processed?
Your tables live in your warehouse, in your account. Records pass through Ingot’s pipeline on the way in, and the AI add-ons send only the text you pick to the model provider you choose. On the first call we’ll go through exactly what runs where, what Ingot keeps and who at Ingot can access what, and we’ll go deeper with your security team.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Text sent for redaction, enrichment or embedding is processed to produce your outputs, and nothing else.
How is Ingot priced, and who pays for warehouse compute?
The price includes the engineering: building, running, monitoring and fixing your pipelines, so for bronze and silver there’s no data engineer to budget for on top. It’s based on the sources we connect and the volume we sync, with each AI add-on metered on the text it processes. Refining bronze into silver runs as queries in your warehouse, so that compute appears on your warehouse bill; Ingot only processes new and changed rows to keep it small. You’ll have a quote after the first call.
